After serving as the head of the Industry Liaison Section at Tokyo Institute of Technology, founded MG Port, Inc. with Professor Kawamura and others.

Received B.Eng. and M.Eng. from University of Tokyo and Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Yoshihito KAWAMURA

Experienced research and development at Nippon Denso (currently Denso Corporation). After serving as a faculty member at Tohoku University and Kumamoto University, he has been serving as Director, Professor of Magnesium Research Center (MRC) of Kumamoto University since 2011.

He developed various novel magnesium alloys including KUMADAI heat resistant alloys, non-flammable alloys, and so on. He was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese Government.

Received B.Eng. from Nagoya University and Ph.D. from Tohoku University.
